November 20th, 2008 at 22:38:52 Excellent video. The old Bob Newhart Show was one of my favorites of all time. I'm 28 years old so I wasn't actually alive when I was in production, but my father and I always watched the re-runs at night. Hearing that theme song always takes me back. Your version is very cool. You're obviously a skilled pianist. Thanks for posting.
November 20th, 2008 at 23:01:51 Thanks! If you can see in the bottom-left hand corner of the video, Finley is snuggled up on my office chair. The bench is hers, and the chair is mine ... but when I play, she takes over my chair. :-)
November 20th, 2008 at 23:24:50 You did a great job!... Thanks for the tribute to Susanne Pleshette she will be best remembered as Emily Hartley...How's the Cat?
November 21st, 2008 at 23:47:49 hah awesome :D .. from wiki : "The name of the All in the Family closing theme song is "Remembering You." It was composed by Roger Kellaway." ... dunno if that helps, but the clip of the closing theme is all over youtube... quite catchy! :p
November 21st, 2008 at 00:10:48 Dude, I'll totally give it a shot ...
November 21st, 2008 at 00:33:47 excellent :D .. if you happen to take requests :), another popular piano solo theme from that same era is the closing credits to All in the Family.. it has somewhat of a neo-ragtime feel to it, but I've always found it challenging to play by ear.. you should give it a shot! :D
November 21st, 2008 at 00:56:46 Very nice tribute. You played it perfectly. I do remember her earlier career when she graced the cover of magazines and was adored by so many. A memorable program and admired leading lady. 5*'s.
